POSITIONING OURSELVES FOR GOD’S PROVISION
Ecclesiastes 3:1–8
In the past two weeks, we have looked at the Kingdom of God and how to seek it. We also looked at how to shift our mindset in order to be transformed inwardly, so that it manifests outwardly. Last Sunday, I shared with you God’s message for all Migrants from the book of Jeremiah 29. We said, God’s purpose for us as migrants living in other countries, cities or towns is to prosper, take dominion and become influential. Our God blesses generationally, therefore He want us to have a generational mindset when we are starting any business, relationships or family. He also commanded that we pray for the peace and prosperity of the countries we live in. Finally, our Father implored us to keep seeking Him with all diligence.
Today, we want to talk about how to position ourselves for God’s provision. Our God is a God of times and seasons. Therefore, it is important that as we have been seeking His face through this 21 day Fasting and Prayers, we also prepare or position ourselves to receive from Him. You can also tap into the grace which is coming this year. Because God is always releasing blessings, but more often, we are not well positioned to receive the blesses. From the gospels, we will look at various personalities who positioned themselves to have an encounter with Jesus.
