Make Prayer a Priority During Fasting
We are already in day 5 of our 21-days fast. Your body should have adjusted to the fast by now. Pray is and should be an essential part of our lives. Unfortunately, there are times you encounter some Christians who tell you, I don't know how to pray. At least they have been sincere with you. There are others who are simply caught off guard when asked to pray, and you notice, they fumble some words and drop off half way.
Brethren, you need to learn how to pray. The apostles were not embarrassed to ask Jesus to teach them how to pray. And Jesus did without hesitation. If we desire to learn how to pray, we can learn from Jesus module prayer - The Our Father. Pastor Franklin, in today's sermon, uses the Lord's Prayer to teach us how to pray deeply. I pray that you learn some lessons and get encouraged to pray during this fast.
Remember, fasting without prayers is dieting. Therefore, listen to this sermon and learn how to engage in deep prayers to seek God's face.
Shalom and Peace to you.
